Hello, today is early dismissal so we wont be learning a lot. All we did today was go over questions 9 from exercise 2 that we were assigned last night for practice.

For tomorrow were supposed to do questions 5 and 6 from the Vectors Review that we got today. There will be a homework check. Hope you have a good early dismissal.

OTTAWA - A new study says young adults in rural and small towns were more likely to be homeowners than young adults in Canada's three largest cities in 2006.

The Statistics Canada report cites housing costs - much higher in Canada's largest cities - as the main reason for the gap.

It also points to the relative scarcity of rental housing in less populated areas.

Six of every 10 young people aged 25 to 39 in Canada who did not live with their parents owned their own home in 2006.

The proportion - 71 per cent - was highest among those who lived in rural areas or in small towns.

In contrast, 54 per cent of those living in the census metropolitan area of Vancouver and 53 per cent of those in Toronto owned their own home, while only 48 per cent of those living in Montreal had their own place.
