Hello fellow classmates. Yesterday we kicked off class with a mental math and then continued on with our lesson on standard deviation and normal distribution. Here are the notes.







The next thing we will be working on is Z scores.

Z-scores are means of answering the question "how many standard deviations away from the mean is this observation?'' A positive Z-score indicates that the observation is greater than the mean and a negative Z-score indicates that the observation is less than the mean.

Just a reminder that projects are due at 3:40 today.
