Good afternoon. Today we started class off with mental math #26. We then corrected questions 3 and 6 from the personal finance review. Also today the topic of why we do mental math came up. The reason that we do it is to provide students with mental practice in computing basic number facts and combining mathematical operations which we could use in everyday situations in which it would be quicker to calculate it without technology or when technology is not available.
