b) 1000mg of antibiotic per day. within the rules of pills can only be taken at 8:am and no partial pills are needed.

day1= 2x500mg
day2= 2x500mg
day3= 1x500mg
day4= 1x500mg
day5= 1x500mg
day6= 1x500mg
taking in total 8 pills of 500mg will not allow the body's antibotic level to fall below 1000mg. over the six days you would have consumed in total 4000mg of antibiotics.
